Welcome to the MOA Berlin!

The ESTC 2024 Conference will be held at the MOA Berlin Hotel in Berlin, one of the biggest event locations in the city. The exhibition and all coffee and lunch breaks will take place in the airy inside courtyard of the hotel. The MOA is situated in the district of Moabit in the center of Berlin and very easy to reach by underground or by bus..

Rooms at preferential rates have been reserved for participants of the conference and can be booked through the online registration system starting in November 2023.

Hotel room booking

September is a busy time in Berlin and we recommend booking your hotel room well in advance. Room at preferential rates have been reserved at the MOA conference hotel for the nights of the conference.

The price is EUR 159 per night (double room for single use, includes breakfast, can be canceled free of charge until one week before the event) or EUR 149 per night (double room for single use, includes breakfast, cannot be canceled, advance payment).

Conference Dinner at Wasserwerk

Thursday, 12 September 224, 7 pm

Join us for the ESTC 2024 conference dinner at Wasserwerk. Built in 1906, Wasserwerk, which translates as water pump station, kept water flowing through Berlin’s pipes throughout the 20th Century. The iconic red-brick building is very typical of turn-of-the-century Berlin and Brandenburg architecture and has now been transformed into a beautiful event location. Guests marvel most of all at the stunning, industrial-chic interior, which features the pumping station’s original giant piston pumps.

The evening promises to be a lively highlight of the conference and an excellent opportunity for mingling and networking with conference delegates from all over the world. Discuss hot topics, controversial presentations or just shoot the breeze with experts from a wide range of disciplines to make the most of your conference participation.
